TOURIST VISA

In order to request tourist visa, applicants are kindly requested to contact a travel agency in Italy or Turkmenistan(list to be downloaded at the web-site). The latter assist in obtaining an “Invitation Letter” from the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan. Such a letter serves as a basis for the Embassy to issue a visa.

The list of the documents for obtaining the tourist visa:

1. Invitation letter (abovementioned);
2. A letter addressed to the Embassy, containing the following information: (either written by the applicant or his/her travel representative in Italy)

• Surname and name;
• Contact details: phone number and e-mail;
• Exact dates of arrival and departure;
• Type of request: express or non-urgent (see payment variations)

3.Colour copy of a passport;

4. 1 (one) visa application form duly completed (to be downloaded at the web-site) with a glued photo

1. 1 questionnaire with a glued photo (to be downloaded at the web-site; a space «supervisor» must be signed by an employer/Human Resources officer of the applicant).
2. In case of request for a visa for a period longer than 3 months, you must have a medical certificate on the examination for detection of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).

TRANSIT VISA

The list of the documents for obtaining the transit visa

1. A letter addressed to the Embassy's containing the following information: (either written by the applicant or his/her travel representative in Italy)

• Surname and name;
• Contact details: phone number and e-mail;
• Exact dates of arrival and departure (max. 5 days for transit, for ex., 10-14 April, and not 10-15 April).
• Detailed route, indicating bordering cities (entry and exit points): for example, Sarahs - Mary - Farap)
• Type of request: express or non-urgent (see payment variations)
• Place, Date and signature

2. Colour copies of visas of two or more neighbouring countries in your passport: country from which you are entering Turkmenistan, as well as a country you are going to from Turkmenistan;

3. Colour copy of your passport;

4. 1 (one) visa application form duly completed (to be downloaded at the web-site) with a glued photo.

5. 1 (one) questionnaire with a glued photo (to be downloaded at the web-site); a space «supervisor» must be signed by an employer/Human Resources officer of the applicant).

6. Passport (should be provided only after positive approval of your visa request)

BUSINESS AND GUEST VISAS:

Applicants, wishing to obtain business and guest visas, need to submit the same abovementioned documents. As for the invitation letter of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan, this must be requested by the inviting company or physical person in Turkmenistan.

Payment:

Payment should be made in EURO. The visa fees are not refundable in case of failure to grant a visa.

In cases where it is issued at the border, payment should be made there, and not to the Embassy.

The Embassy accepts only a bank payment, no cash (ask bank account details after your visa will be approved by e-mail). When doing so, please indicate names and reason of money transfer.
